Full kit inspection!

At least once on Summer Camp we do a full kit inspection.

Everything - and we mean EVERYTHING - has be taken out of the tent and laid out neatly folded in piles for checking. T-shirts together, trousers together, etc. Dirty washing needs to be in a plastic bag, which also gives us the chance to check that they do actually have some dirty washing and have not been wearing the same clothes since we arrived!

After inspection it will be a litter sweep of the field and then pork casserole for tea and meat-free meat balls (surely a contradiction in the title!) for the veggies.

Tomorrow we're off on our hike - approx 12km - likely to be a coastal walk in the local area rather than Snowdon as the weather forecast is not brilliant, but final decision is still to be made.

  5. Hi Jimmy, hope the inspection went well, and hope that my top tip of hiding the frying pan and dirty utensils in the bracken worked a treat and went un-noticed (Just like I used to do in the Sea Scouts) Ouch! Mum just twisted my earlobe. ;-)
