seeing as every one is saying thanks I will say a few thank you's. Thank you for parents and Scouts showing your appreciation. I think I can speak for all leaders in saying that we have taken a great bunch of scouts away this year. Hopefully you the scouts will spread the news to the other scouts that do not go on camp becuase of "lack of confidence" that they have absolutely nothing to worry about. These life experiences are so important to help build your confidence and the ability to work with others that maybe are not as experienced as you and will need guidence and understanding. That will happen all the way through your life and you going through Scouts will give you the "Edge" over other's!!

It's been a pleasure to provide the updates and and I've gained even greater satisfaction from the smiles on the Scouts faces when I read out the updates around the camp fire and for all of the wonderful messages from the parents and other "watchers" who have enjoyed the blog.
Me thinks I may have made a rod for my own back and this this will now become a regular feature!
